Volunteer Spotlight
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the passion and skills of our amazing volunteers to power our program. There is nothing we appreciate more than what our team and donors contribute! If you’re curious about getting involved- check out how these volunteers fuel our students’ love of STEM learning.
Let’s meet Adriana Chu !
Adriana Chu serves as Pink Space Theory’s Grant Writer and specifically focuses on the Make Tech Pink and G.R.E.A.T Math Minds programs. She conducts extensive research to identify grant opportunities that align with the organization's mission and goals. She also writes clear and compelling grant proposals, including budgets, to submit to potential funders. Her work helps us increase our reach and program offerings.
Adriana resides in San Francisco and is employed as a Cancer Researcher. She is a Master’s student at Stanford University and is currently applying for a PhD in Biomedical Science. In her free time, she loves escape rooms! She also enjoys skating and hiking.
As a woman in STEAM, Adriana is driven by a passion to make a meaningful impact on the next generation, particularly in empowering and inspiring girls to pursue their interests in STEM fields and fulfills that passion through volunteering.
