Thank You Pink Space Theory Volunteers!

This Volunteer Appreciation Week, we're putting the spotlight on the people who make Pink Space Theory possible.  Without our passionate and dedicated team of volunteers, we wouldn't be able to inspire and prepare the next generation of leaders in science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematicians (STEAM) for success in the workplace.

Pink Space Theory’s volunteer community is full of talented professionals, students, and retirees who make a difference in the lives of others.  Pink Space Theory supports hundreds of underserved and underrepresented children every year because of our volunteers.

Volunteer Appreciation Week 2022

Volunteer Appreciation Week is one of our favorite holidays.  This year, Volunteer Appreciation Week runs from April 17th to 23rd.  It was first established in 1974 to thank volunteers and encourage others to sign up.  If you're thinking of volunteering, now is a perfect time.  Volunteering is a fantastic way to give back to your community and the causes close to your heart.  It's also a great way to widen your network, broaden your skills, and make new friends!

Thank You to Our Volunteers

Every member of our volunteer team plays a vital role in helping to close the STEM equity gaps.  They all deserve a special 'thank you’ every day, especially during Volunteer Appreciation Week.  Our volunteers oversee most of the day-to-day activities that keep our organization running.  These activities span from onboarding other volunteers to managing our social media, writing STEAM lessons, authoring monthly newsletters, sharing advice on how to tackle challenging STEM subjects, planning special events, helping to manage the organization's finances, and so much more.

Our volunteers have busy lives, but they are committed to making a personal sacrifice to do their part to ensure that ALL students have access and opportunity to quality afterschool and in-school STEAM programs that prepare them for future STEM careers.  Because of this, their generosity means the world to the people we serve!
