STEM-ing At Home! It's All About Chemistry!
Today’s theme for STEM-ing At Home is focused on one of our favorites —chemistry.
Become a Chemistry-Spy for the Day- Make Invisible Ink
Who wants to become a Chemi-Spy for a day? Channel your internal spy persona with this fun STEM activity. The kids can create secret messages as part of a scavenger hunt.
Materials:
Baking soda
Paper
Water
Light bulb (heat source)

Measuring cup
Purple grape juice (optional)
Make invisible ink by following the simple instructions at ThoughtCo.
Making Slime
Did you know you can make your own slime for a fun learning and play activity? Non-Newtonian liquids are fascinating for all ages and provide a great learning opportunity about chemistry.
Materials:
School Glue / White Glue / Elmer's Glue
Borax (Sodium tetraborate)
Food coloring (optional)
